Returning to California as an expert (pardon the pun) in her field, she works closely with Jackson Family Wines international team to promote their wine. Bringing a fresh perspective to the industry, Julia proclaims that the queen wine of Sanoma is not the beloved Pinot Noir, but in her opinion, the Cabernet. A varietal of wine the family proudly bottles. The Spire Collection, by Jackson Family Wines, produces two fine versions of the vintage; Helena Dakota and Helena Montana. Both of which give the wine connoisseurs of the world something to raise their glasses to.

Also a successful philanthropist, Julia is the founder of Cambria Seeds of Empowerment; a program that supports women empowerment. Surrounded by female leaders in her own life, such as her mother, Barbara Banke who established Cambria Estate Winery in 1987, the program offers support for non-profit organizations in communities that foster opportunities for women. To date, the program offers 100,000 dollars in grants annually to qualifying organizations.

Looking Back At It All

How The Man George Soros Came To Be

For just one moment, take a look at your life and put the pieces together. You’re where you are and who you are because of a very long process. None of it happened over night. Though most of us stand in awe at what George Soros has accomplished in one lifetime, we think it better to honor how much he couldn’t accomplish.

For example, men of Soros’ greatness lose many things before they’re able to gain anything. When studying the lives of the world’s greatest entrepreneurs, for example, we often see struggles that other men avoided. And it’s because of these specific challenges that men often become the exceptions to the rule. Read his profile at Business Insider.

A Long Road Ahead

So we won’t just honor the name of George by highlighting the man’s greatest features. We’ll instead put together a picture of the long road that brought a young man named George Soros to where we see him today. That road began in the most unlikely of situations. And it’s hard to imagine how it all came to be.

Today, with peace abounding in so many areas, it’s hard to picture what it would be like in a state of war. Yet war is what the young George Soros experienced at the age of 13. This was World War II to be exact. Nazi occupation of the financial mogul’s home country of Hungary caused George and his family to become refugees.

Which should shine light into why Mr. Soros is known around the world as an advocate for refugees. Visit projectsyndicate.com to know more about George.

Where Society Opens Its Doors

The relevancy of his life experience made it possible for him to see a better world. But this vision wasn’t limited to him alone. It is laid in Soros’ heart and from a real experience. And now, we all understand how this man came to be.

George Soros Moves From Refugee To One Of The World’s Most Influential Political Figures

The Hungarian born investment specialist George Soros has become one of the world’s leading political figures over the course of the last two decades after becoming a leading donor to liberal and Democratic candidates and causes. Soros has taken a liberal view for the majority of his life after living for a prolonged period of time under the rule of a series of dictatorships following the occupation of Hungary by the Nazi’s during World War II and the Communist regime of Joseph Stalin; in the 21st century Soros has largely focused on his own charitable Open Society Foundations and ignored political giving until a series of global events led to Soros making a $25 million investment in the 2016 U.S. Presidential election cycle. Learn more about George at Biography.

George Soros made his initial political splash as a donor during the 2004 election season when his $27 million in donations to the campaign of Democrat John Kerry made him the hero of the left and a polarizing figure for those on the right of the political spectrum; during the election campaigns run by President Barrack Obama, George Soros decided to remove himself from the issues of major donors being giving a major level of political influence for parties on both the right and left of U.S. politics. Politico reports Soros himself believes the political influence of major donors has grown to great and should be curbed by bringing an end to the Citizen’s United Supreme Court decision; in a bid to achieve this aim, George Soros has become one of the supporters of the “End Citizen’s United” PAC that limits its donors to a maximum donation of just $5,000. In 2016, George Soros began to view the global political situation as in a delicate state that required a large amount of work and the correct politicians to take up positions of power across portions of Europe and North America. George Soros believed Democrat and former secretary of State Hillary Clinton was the correct person to take on the challenges of a rising far right influence on global politics because of the policies she was to put into place before the victory of Republican Donald J. Trump. Read more on NYTimes.com

Soros himself has always kept a close eye on the issues facing refugees and the dispossessed across the world, which has led to the recent Syrian refugee crisis affecting the European Union in a negative way. As a 17 year old, George Soros left his home in Hungary to travel to the U.K. to attend the London School of Economics where the financial career of the hedge fund icon led to the Hungarian born 86 year old building a personal fortune of an estimated $26 billion, according to Forbes.
